New Breguet Classique Hora Mundi 5717 18ct Red Gold

Featuring 18-carat red gold or 950 platinum, the new Breguet Classique Hora Mundi 5717 watch is quite unique for its three versions of the dial. Each dial represents one part of the world: the Americans, the European and African continents, or Asia and Oceania – six references in all. It is the first example of a mechanical timepiece with an instant-jump time-zone display. This function allows the traveller to easily display the time in two pre-selected time zones, changing instantly from one to the other simply by pressing a button. The outer ring of the dial is embellished with Roman markers. Three slender hands are sitting at the center. In addition, this new piece is equipped with moon phase function, which you can see between 4 and 5 o’clock.

Powered by self-winding movement with a power reserve of 55 hours, the new Breguet Classique Hora Mundi 5717 watch is teamed up with a brown alligator leather strap.

Case: round, in 18-carat red gold with finely fluted caseband. 
Caseback: hand-engraved on a rose engine and fitted with a sapphire crystal. Rounded lugs welded to the case, with screw-pins securing the strap.
Screw-locked crown: at 3 o’clock. 
Pushpiece-crown: at 8 o’clock. 44mm diameter. 
Water-resistant: to 3 bar (30 metres).
Dial: in 18-carat gold depicting the American continent, hand-engraved on a rose engine with a “wave” motif beneath a translucent lacquer. Silvered and hand-engraved day/night indication in 18-carat gold. Individually numbered and signed Breguet. Applied chapter ring with Roman numerals. City indication at 6 o’clock. Date aperture at 12 o’clock. 
Hands: Open-tipped Breguet in blued steel.
